VAASTU Shastra is not all about demolishing a wall here or making an opening there.

Mayank Barjatya, a Pune-based Vaastu consultant, who was in Chennai recently said. “I believe in a scientific approach to Vaastu as it is about balancing environmental energies.” Mayank is an architect by profession. He calls himself a “doctor of the environment” and has devised instruments used to balance energy. His profession has helped him see problems arising out of environmental agression, thus leading to reaserch and the concept of Building Biology.

According to him, Vaastu Shastra refers to the energy fields governing the earth. These energy fields can provide harmonious or disturbed conditions and are believed to flow through structures in a negative or positive manner, having a direct bearing on those who live in these spaces. Mayank claims to have the ability to measure and understand the environmental agression by measuirng human energies by a devices called Lecher Antenna. The antenna measures the cosmic energy which is for mental power, the globel energy meant for relarionships and health, and the teluric one which deals with work, stability and finance. Human energies have two main sources – the geopathic and cosmic. If these two sources are in balance, one experiences environmental bliss. Any disturbance affects the person concerned.

Mayank believes in imparting the knowledge to everybody. He started with the website vaastuworld .com dedicated to Science of Vaastu and Building Biology. He went on to establish The Vaastu World Academy (TVA) in Pune, an institute for holistic training on approaching Vaastu in a scientific way.

There are several instruments used to channelise positive energy and correct any imbalance found. A lot of research goes into making these instruments, he claims. He himself went to Paris to learn more about these instruments before he tried to make them.

These instruments are made in the Pune-based institute or imported. Other than Lecher Antenna, there are other instruments like Aculife which measures the human energy field and provide interpretation of environmental agression. The Magnetic Compass measures the magneticaxis and detects the true cardinal north. A Peace Pyramid brings peace to a larger environment and a Trnsmutor Pyramid helps to maintain focus and clarity. He say’s, “We have treated over 500 projects all over the world.” The factory output has been increased using these instruments, he adds.

The entire idea is to promote Vaastu Shastra as a science and not as a religion. He say’s the success of his ‘diagnosis’ is 100 percent-guaranteed, but what varies is the time factor. After the instruments installed, the team again visits after 90 days to gauge the difference.

He has also written a book titled VANTRA on Vaastu and Tantra.
